Abarth reveals full pricing for the 500e

Earlier this week, Abarth revealed the full pricing for the upcoming 500e electric hot hatchback. Up until now, all we have known is the price of the rather limited edition ‘‘Scorpionissima’ which is knocking on the door of £40k, at £38,695. However, the company is planning on launching some more affordable options to help make it a bit more accessible. Just last week, the new Abarth 500e made an appearance at the Fully Charged Show South 2023, something both me and Jim attended. Check out our special episode of Charging Status here.

The 500e will start at £34,195 when it ships to customers this June. Orders for the new car have opened up already and it’s available as both a hatchback and convertible, although the latter does add a few thousand pounds to the price.

For example, the standard 500e is £34,195 and the convertible is £37,195. The top spec Abarth 500e Turismo (not counting the Scorpionissima) starts at £38,195 and £41,195 for the convertible.

When compared to its Fiat cousin, the Abarth adds a unique and aggressive bodykit, redesigned front and rear bumpers, rear spoiler, large Abarth badging and lettering as well as 17-inch alloy wheels. There is also a sound generator, which is designed to mimic the sound of a petrol engine.

Inside you can find a lot of Alcantara used on the seats and dashboard as well as heated seats, wireless phone charging and a whole host of safety technology.

The new Abarth 500e is on sale now, deliveries for the UK will start in June.
